How to Mirror Screen

Updated May 19, 2026

Mirror Screen feature allows users to cast the local screen of one device to other online target devices under the same account, with the receiving device displaying the source devices full screen in real time. Ideal for presentations and sharing content.

and quite simply, "one-way casting" or a "wireless projector." Its core logic is that the controlling device (A) broadcasts its screen in real-time to the controlled device (B), where B can only watch but not touch.

To help you instantly grasp the difference between this and the "Extended Screen" feature, consider this analogy: Extended Screen adds a "second monitor" to your computer, allowing you to drag windows and operate on both sides.

In contrast, Screen Mirroring connects a "loudspeaker/projector"the image is identical, but the secondary device acts solely as a display terminal with no ability to control the host.

Preparation

Before mirror your screen to the target device, please ensure the following conditions are met:

Please ensure that the AnyViewer is properly installed and running on both the local device and the target device.

Please log in to both devices using the same AnyViewer account (no need to initiate a remote connection in advance).

We strongly recommend updating the software on both devices to the latest version for the best experience.

The mirror screen feature requires a Pro or higher account level to use.

Operation Steps

Step 1: Select the Target Device

On the host device's software interface, click Device-My Devices in the menu bar. From the pop-up list, select the target device where you want to display the screen.

Step3 : Real-time Display

Once mirroring is successfully established, the target device will perfectly replicate the host's desktop and synchronize all your operations in real time. Please note that the target device acts solely as a display terminal; it cannot be used to execute tasks.

Note

Screen mirroring supports multiple devices.

Extended display is unavailable while mirroring is active.

Remote control and screen viewing are disabled for all devices currently involved in a mirroring session.

Summary

AnyViewer's Screen Mirroring feature is essentially a secure and convenient "wireless broadcasting system." It simplifies complex cabling into a software-level connection, perfectly solving spatial limitations in presentations, teaching, and sharing. When you only need "I operate, you watch" without requiring the other party to control the device, Screen Mirroring is your optimal choice. It makes presentations more professional and sharing more intimate.
