Install and Uninstall Remote Desktop Software - AnyViewer

Need to solve problems on your friends or family members' machines or access a colleague's computer from far? You can use a remote desktop program to remotely access and control their computers. AnyViewer is a stable, fast, and secure remote desktop software that allows you to control a PC from any location as long as the devices are well connected to the network.  

How to install AnyViewer

Before installing AnyViewr, you need to download it from its official website. Then, you can follow the steps:

Step 1. Double click the AnyViewer setup package.

Step 2. You'll be asked whether to allow this app to make changes to your device; click "Yes" to allow installation.

Step 3. Then, click "Install Now" to start AnyViewer installation. And the app is set to be installed on C drive by default; if you need to install it on another drive, you can click the folder icon to choose another drive.

Step 4. After a while, AnyViewer will be installed on your PC and you can click "Enjoy Now" to use the app for remote control and remote support.

How to uninstall AnyViewer

If you don't need to use AnyViewer anymore, you can uninstall the remote desktop software from your device. 

Way 1. Uninstall the remote desktop app from Control Panel

Step 1. Press "Windows" + "S" to enter the Search box, input "control panel" and double click the pop-up result to open "Control Panel".

Step 2.  On the "Control Panel" window, click "Uninstall a program".

Step 3.  Find out AnyViewer on the list of, right-click it and choose "Uninstall".

Step 4. Then follow the prompts to uninstall AnyViewer. 

Attention:

When you have selected the option Start Anyviewer with the Windows, you may be prompted that the program is running when you uninstall it. In this case, you need to exit Anyviewer in the bottom right corner of the desktop, and then uninstall the program again.

Or you can end the RCCLient.exe and AV core.exe process in the Windows task management, then close RCService to uninstall it completely.

Way 2. Remove the remote desktop software from App & feature

Step 1. Press "Windows" + "S" to enter the Search box, input "apps & features" and double click the pop-up result to open the "App & features" window.

Step 2.  On the window, locate AnyViewer, right-click it and click "Uninstall". Then, follow the steps to complete the remote desktop software uninstallation.
