Access and Control IOS/Android Screen
You can display the iOS or Android screen on your computer or mobile device for remote support. This is especially useful for troubleshooting app issues and providing hands-on guidance remotely.
Common Use Cases:
1. Provide real-time guidance to help resolve mobile application issues, incorrect settings, or usage confusion.
2. Customer support agents can remotely check the condition or configuration of a user’s device.
3. Assist elderly users in setting up or operating their smartphones (e.g., configuring Wi-Fi, enlarging text, enabling location).
4. Developers or testers can remotely monitor the operational status of test devices.
5. Remote teams can collaborate to test app interaction flows, UI/UX behavior, and performance under real conditions.

Preparation work
1. On the Recipient Device (iOS/Android)
Download and Install AnyViewer
iOS: Go to the Apple App Store, search for AnyViewer, and install it.
Android: Go to Google Play Store, search for AnyViewer, and install it.
Launch the app and register/login an AnyViewer account
Share the Device ID
After you log in to the device, you can view or share the device ID of the recipient mobile device.
Enable Screen Sharing Permissions
Go to Settings > Remote Permissions and ensure "Allow viewing screen" is enabled (this is enabled by default).
2. On the Controller Device (Windows/iOS/Android)
Download and Install AnyViewer:
Visit the official AnyViewer website or respective app store to install the software on your Windows PC, iPhone/iPad, or Android device.
Launch the app and register/login an AnyViewer account
Use the same AnyViewer account you used on the controlled device.
Or, login the different AnyViewer account, so you can directly input the Device ID of the target device to establish a connection.
Notes & Requirements
1. To cast or control a mobile device, the following system versions are required:
iOS Devices: iOS 12.0 or later.
Android Devices: Android 8.0 or later.
2. Viewing iOS screens is possible, but direct control over iOS devices is limited due to system restrictions from Apple.
3. Android devices support screen viewing and remote device operation.
Access IOS or Android screen
With AnyViewer, you can easily view and control the screen of a mobile device (iOS or Android) directly from your Windows PC or another Mobile Device(iOS or Android). Follow the steps below to get started.
Step 1. Initiate Screen Viewing
Please run and log in AnyViewer accounts on the controller and the recipient devices.
Option 1: Logged in with the Same Accounts
View iOS Screen:
- Open AnyViewer on the Control Device (PC, iOS, or Android Device).
- Locate your iOS device in the My devices list.
- Click “View Screen” to start casting the iOS screen to your PC.
View Android Screen:
- Open AnyViewer on the Control Device (PC, iOS, or Android Device).
- Locate your Android device in the My devices list.
- Click "Mobile Screen mirroring" to get the PC QR code.
- Open AnyViewer on the Android device to cast the screen with the upper right corner
to scan the PC QR code.
Option 2: Logged in with different Accounts
If you log in different accounts on the controller and the recipient device, the recipient device can't be listed under My Devices list. You can directly type into the recipient device’s Device ID to connect.
- Open AnyViewer on the Controller Device (PC, iOS, or Android Device).
- In the main interface, enter the Device ID of the recipient mobile device.
- Click "Connect" to initiate a connection request.

Step 2. Request and Approve Viewing Permission
Once the connection is initiated:
A screen viewing request will be sent to the recipient mobile device (iOS or Android).
On the mobile device (iOS or Android), a pop-up prompt will appear.
The user must tap “Allow”, then “OK” to confirm screen broadcasting.
Step 3. Start Screen Broadcast
To begin sharing the screen:
Tap “Start Broadcast” on the mobile device(iOS or Android).
All on-screen activity (including notifications) will be visible to the PC.
Tip: Enable "Do Not Disturb" on the mobile device to avoid pop-up interruptions.
Step 4. Adjust Viewing Settings
After connection, you can optimize the screen viewing experience on the remote window.
Adaptive View: Auto-adjusts screen size to fit the current window (only for PC controller device).

Enable Remote Control Permission for Android Devices
If the recipient device is Android, and you also want to remotely operate it from the Controller (not just view), you need to individually set:
After connecting, enable "AnyViewer Auxiliary Service" under: Settings > Accessibility > Installed Services > AnyViewer.
Once enabled, AnyViewer can capture and interact with everything on-screen (e.g., search, tap, scroll).
