Step 3. Right-click Chrome>New> DWORD (32-bit) Value, and name it as RemoteAccessHostAllowClientPairing.

Step 4. Double-click RemoteAccessHostAllowClientPairing and change its value to 1.


Change the setting through Local Group Policy Editor.

Step 1. Hold Windows key and R to open Run box, then type “gpedit.msc” and click OK.

Step 2. Go to Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Classic Administrative Templates>Google>Google Chrome>Remote access, and find Enable or disable PIN-less authentication for remote access hosts item on the right side of the window.

Step 3. Double-click it and check Enable option.

Method 3: Disable IPv6 protocol

This method may solve some connection issues that appear when you use Chrome remote desktop.

Step 1. Hold Windows key and R to open Run box, and then type “control panel” and click OK.

Step 2. Go to Network and Internet -> Ethernet -> Change adapter options.

Step 3. Right-click the adapter you want to change setting and choose Properties.


Step 4. Find Internet Protocol Version 6(TCP/IPv6) item and make sure this item is unchecked.


Method 4: Disable VPN

It may cause a connection error if you use a VPN when you want to establish a remote connection through Chrome Remote Desktop. Turn the VPN off and try to connect again to see if the problem is solved.
