Why is Chrome Remote Desktop not working?

Chrome Remote Desktop, developed by Google, can exist as a Google extension or a standalone app. It is widely used for computer remote access. However, there are some occasions when Chrome remote access is not working. Apart from sticking to connection, there are other symptoms:

Chrome Remote Desktop freezes
◆ Chrome Remote Desktop isn't  loading
Chrome Remote Desktop goes offline
◆ ....

Usually, Chrome Remote Desktop stops working because there is something wrong with the Chrome browser or the Chrome Remote Desktop app, PIN feature, permission issues, or network connection.

Fix Chrome Remote Desktop not working with 5 methods

Regardless of the specific reason that results in the issue, you can fix Chrome Remote Desktop not working with one or more of the following 5 methods.

Method 1. Check network connection

A stable network connection should be the precondition. Thus, when you can't use Chrome Remote Desktop to connect to the host PC, it's advised to check the network connection of both computers.

Step 1.  Press Windows + R, input "ping 8.8.8.8 -t" and press Enter.

Step 2. Then, you can get the result of ping. If the difference of numbers after the time is small,  the network connection is well and if the number changes sharply, the network isn't OK.
