How do I fix “An attempt was made to logon”?

“When attempting to RDP a server, I come across an error that said, "An attempt was made to log on, but the network logon service was not started". The only changes that were made were the previous Windows updates that were installed today. Is there a solution to this problem? I'm now troubleshooting; however, I'm hoping to save time by inquiring in the boards. Thanks”

Solution 1. Reset the Netlogon Properties

Step 1. Input “Create a restore point” in the search box, then click “Open”.

Solution 3. Run Command line in CMD solution 3

If the methods above fail to work, you can also follow this method to keep running some command lines. According to some users, the issue has gone after they complete it.

Step 1. Search “cmd” in the search box and then right-click on the option, choose “Run as administrator”.

Step 2. Type the command line ipconfig/flushdns and then press the “Enter” key to flush the DNS Cache.
