How do I fix VNC viewer resolution?

RealVNC's auto-scaling allows me to make it fill the entire screen, however, the result is hazy. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks in advance.

When connected to a Windows computer, you may notice that the list of resolutions in the Windows display settings is limited to a maximum of 1024x768 or 1280x1024. This is due to a limitation in Windows where you can force Windows to provide a specific resolution. This is caused by a Windows limitation and you can force Windows to provide a specific resolution, but this is usually only possible on desktop computers, not laptops. In this example, we will set the resolution to 1920x1080.

Step 1. Press "Win+R" at the simultaneous time. Then press "OK" after pasting "regedit" into the "Run" box.

Step 2. In the left pane of the Registry Editor, navigate to the following registry entry: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Configuration

Step 3. Select the key starting with the name “SIMULATED”(or NOEDID if SIMULATED does not exist), then select the subkey named “00”.

Step 4. The "" value should be changed to the required horizontal resolution (1920). When modifying these values, make certain that "Decimal" is chosen.

Step 5. Change the value to “” to the desired vertical resolution (1080).

Step 6. Select the subkey below the 00 subkey also named "00".

Step 7. Set "" to the same horizontal resolution (1920) as before.

Step 8. Change the value of “” to the same vertical resolution (1080) as before.

Step 9. Restart the computer after making the changes.
